Awesome Traditional Danish food
A cozy place with great, very traditional Danish food and beer. What else there's to say. I can recommend to start with "Dansk snackkurv" (it's definitely up for sharing).
I had a really nice bøfsandwich, especially the chips/crisps were a bit on the salty side but it was otherwise very good. Beer selection is fair, but not super impressive. My friends ordered other main courses and they were happy about them as well. I was however very disappointed at their strawberry compote pancake dessert. I was initially told that they were unable to serve it with the listed vanilla ice cream as the one they had was crystallized. I then agreed to try it with a coconut based ice cream instead, but was disappointed to find that crystallized as well. The pancake was super boring and did not taste of anything and the strawberry compote was very bland as well. They should probably step up their dessert game or remove it from the menu. Good atmosphere and good acoustics for conversation.
The service was excellent and the range of Danish foods prepared so well and in such an extremely appetizing manner. The taste of the local Aarhus brew was cherry on the icing. I recommend it to any Aarhus visitor.

The quality varies depending on when you visit. Sometimes it's really great and other times it is just good. Do not get me wrong though, it has been worth the money everytime I've been there, it is just disappointing that the quality of the food varies so much
