The director is extremely unprofessional and questioned giving me a registration form because she wasn’t sure if I was going to register. She also called from a blocked number to yell at me about how I was causing her problems on her day ofHonestly if you are looking for a professional director there are many other places you can go.

One day I surprisingly showed up at noon and discovered the watcher screaming at my 2 year old daughter for being in the wrong area of the room to the point where she was crying. When another helper told her that I had arrived she suddenly changed and spoke softly to me. When staff terrify children when they know you're not around, you owe it to your children to get them as far from these people as possible.

I had 2 children in Abacus, one in the 3 year old room and one in the infant room and I have been very pleased with the service there. Staff is very friendly and great at what they do, my 3 year old loves all her teachers and hates to leave everyday. I would highly recommend abacus to anybody looking for affordable childcare!

Both directors treat their staff with zero respect. Valerie cares more about the money she can get from parents rather then the mental health of her staff. I was told to tell the parents the bare minimum of the day involving their kids, because \the parents never think their kids do anything wrong\. Most of the kids are yelled at when they are behaving. A few people babysit kids outside of the daycare and you can tell the teacher favors those children more. Also I was told \this is a group daycare. We can't focus on one kid all day. Even if they're crying. They're going to have to get over it\ So instead of calming the child down, even if it meant holding the kid alot we were expected to just let the child cry. The pay is not even good for how much these parents are charged. And the lying and back stabbing between employees is not worth the time. Some employees spend more time causing issues with other instead of doing their job. Unhealthy environment.
