Confirmed with all other reviews that this hotel is really dated. It almost felt like I travel back to the 80s with the deco and even the arcade games! Good services and huge indoor hot spring. Came here in off season time so this huge hotel was very quiet, and felt like I was in a very place after traveling to many parts of Hokkaido.

Good sized room with friendly staff. How friendly? After checking in I went to Abashiri prison and got caught out by a heavy rainstorm so returned absolutely soaked (stupidly left my waterproofs behind). The old lady greeting guests was properly concerned and insistent on drying my kit off for me, took ages to convince her I'd be fine. Breakfast was a good mix too. Bike ended up parked in their garage/storage area so out of sight and solid ground which was good
Very warm welcome. Nice foods and large room with traditional touch. The onsen is must-do to relax the body and experience Japanese culture. The view from the room and outside the building is beautiful. There is a huge lake just beside the hotel and you can see many birds. When departing, the hosts waved goodbye outside the lobby giving an extra touch of care and hospitality.
Decent onsen hotel by a lake. The onsen is fairly large. Meals are okay.
Very good hotel, best dinner service..best room service, best view best everything and don't forget to fishing at lake abashiri
This hotel is definitely old-fashioned. If you're looking for that it's the perfect place to be. However for us it felt kind of weird. Also, no checkout before 7am. Plus points for being one of the only places in Abashiri where its possible to pay with card.
It is crazy we found another door key under the bed and the counter guy said nothing but just took the key away when check-out. You will not surprise somebody opened the door at night because the hotel security and reactuon is poor.
Spacious, Very courteous & great spread
