Basic but clean accommodation across the street from the train station, although the rooms are really outdated. An easy 15 minutes on foot to the downtown shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty enough, althoug nothing on the hotplates was actually hot. Expensive for what you get (we paid 15000/night) but every hotel is expensive in Abashiri.

Bad, hard beds with dated rooms. The bed had a soft part on the side caused by people sitting there over the years. The breakfast was terrible. Cold food and a microwave in the dining area which we're not allowed to use for some unknown reason. Why is it even there? No tea or fruit was available at breakfast either.
We were glad to find the carpark just next to the hotel. This made it so easy to check in if you have a car. Parking is free. The room was the small but clean and the layout is similar to many other Hokkaido budget hotels we stayed in. Good buffet breakfast served. Mainly Japanese dishes. It's your typical Japanese hotel. Nothing outstanding. If you travel by train, the location would be ideal as the station is just opposite the hotel. No many restaurants around but we were quite happy with Sukiya which is opposite the hotel. Sukiya serves cheap and tasty Japanese meals.
Clean, convenient and friendly. Decent restaurant with nice breakfast. Basic onsen on premise. Right next to train station. About a 10 minute walk to main shopping area of town.
