Very helpful customer service n kept me update about the delivery time. Love the paper bags, not find of plastic at all. Could not trace what happened to my first order only seeing charge of 5cents for membership? Anyway thanks to the nice lady over the phone explained to me that it's like buying from farmers market helping the local growers n farmers. Hope to see more produce and other items. Made my first order and the site was easy to navigate. I'm looking forward to the time when more fruits and veggies are in season. At the time I ordered, the only meat available was beef so I ordered the 4.5 lbs of round steak. I noticed on unpacking that it included 2 wrapped packages that were stamped round steak and one that is stamped sirloin steak (In error as is higher priced or as a replacement?) so i'm not sure exactly what I got as its all frozen and paper wrapped. When I looked at the site today, I note that there is a larger selection of meat available but most of the chicken is marinated in exotic marinades and in large portions. I hope it would be delivered in individually wrapped portions as I am a single person. I'd like to see more plain or less exotic marinades. I look forward to making future orders. Edit: I'd like to see places that list things like marinated chicken list basic ingredients and if it is spicy or not. I ordered lemon marinated chicken based on the picture expecting maybe lemon & herbs but received something orange and spicy. Definitely not what I wanted.

Absolutely loved my experience with Direct Food. Their products came on time and the website was super easy to navigate to place my order. The instructions were super easy as to when my order would come. All the product was super fresh and delicious! - no complaints here!

Very good shopping and delivery experience. The alcohol was well managed, and the delivery notifications were really appreciated. The window offered in the previous day's email was tight enough, and the driver called when she was about 35 minutes away. Will shop here again.

Really a great experience overall, eggs were laid the day they were delivered (didn't know this was possible!). Delivery was perfect and I'm cooking the steak tonight

I love using them to have better access to farm fresh produce. I love how it comes straight from each farm and its not sitting in some warehouse for sometime before it gets stocked.
