I had a wonderful experience at Ocean Nails today. After 8 days driving the AlCan starting in Anchorage, I stopped by and asked if they could take a walk in for a fill. Yes, indeed! The owner himself did my nails and he did a beautiful job. The hour I spent there felt like a hug from friends of many years....I noticed that when customers walked in, they were greeted by name - that told me they have a lot of repeat business. I can see why. I told the owner I was just passing through on my way to move to Austin, but I sure hope I can find such a great nail salon when I reach my destination. I’m so, so happy I stopped in - what a lovely nail salon. Two thumbs up! 5 Stars *****! 10/10! Thank you ocean nails, you are wonderful.

I started going to this salon last year based on the decision of being able to walk in whenever and their reviews. Every time I have gone in, the waiting time is kept to a minimum and staff immediately greet you. The staff have always been friendly and polite and not to mention they work well. I picked getting fake nails and having them painted each time I've walked in. The nails have lasted well over a month and look great! My most recent visit I asked for a small design of a peacock feather on my ring finger and was quite impressed (there's no way I could do it)! I can't wait to go back and get my nails again, I'd recommend them to anyone!

So I went there, I called ahead of time and asked them what the prices were for a fill. The lady said 48. I already had long Acrylics and just wanted a fill. They ended up charging me 55 dollars because apparently they charge for long nails, but I already came with nails from a previous salon, so that shouldn’t matter. My sister got her nails done and the process was unacceptable and cut my sisters nails and didn’t even do what she asked and cut the length shorter than whatever was asked. I would not recommend going there. I had a really bad experience and I wouldn’t want anyone else experiencing that stuff

I get my nails done every 3 weeks at my usual place but decided to try this salon... This is the worst nail experience I have ever had. The lady was rough, she twisted my knuckles they were sore, her nails were digging into my fingers and cutting me I had to ask her to be gentle, she didn’t. The shellac was done incorrectly, the acrylic was not put on properly. I went back the next day to ask them to fix the polish and the the owners were arguing me though it was clear the top coat wasn’t on and polish wash rubbing off. Then she continued to be aggressive and sanded my skin off in her angry attempt to fix the polish she’d done the day before. Rude, aggressive, rushed, do not go to this salon.

This place has great nail techs. I absolutely LOVED my nails. I had them put on what they call unicorn or rainbow powder. BEST NAILS EVER!!!

Disclaimer: I do not go to spas with any frequency to be able to compare, so I will just be reporting my experience. I was there as part of a three person bridal party getting manicures. The staff was polite, the host was efficient and organized. They observed Covid restrictions. They had many colours to choose from. One of my nails needed a fake gel nail. It wasn't formed well. Within the hour I was noticing a rough edge, and within another hour, the fake nail broke off at the end of my real nail. There was no time left before the wedding to return and have them fix it, so I cannot comment on their policy for that.
