Sehmi is one of the many sushi restaurants here in Abbotsford. It's certainly not my favorite. I would rank the sushi along side that of a supermarket's. Rice was a little old (I went later at night) and the fish lost some of it's glean and texture. Food wasn't terrible, just not the quality I expect. Service is typical for covid times. A little below average. Chef was on his phone when we walked in and ignored us. The place seemed clean and had some covid precautions. They should probably keep their exercise equipment in the back though. There are several nicer sushi restaurants with more attentive staff I would eat at before coming back.

I have been going here for years. Nice little place, quiet, good food, and group rooms/booths if you have several guests and want to sit in a more traditional way. This is not fine dining, jeans and a sweater work, the food is good, and the servers are friendly. Have yet to be disappointed.
Firstly, we ordered food from this restaurant online from their website and were told that we could pick it up 40 minutes later, when we arrived to pick up we were told the order never came through even though we had paid for it already through menuone. They then proceeded to make our order quickly, within 5 minutes it was eady\. We go home and open the container up to a completely wrong order, missing 1 whole roll, 2 of the rolls were made incorrectly with missing ingredients, and one roll we weren't even sure what it was because it wasn't even close to anything we ordered. I'm not sure why this mistake happened? My mistake is not checking at the restaurant and blindly trusting them to get it correctly. The sushi itself was of low grade, like the cold packs you get at a save on or a grocery store. For a sushi place, they charge higher prices so quality should be of the same. We eat a lot of sushi, and from all the sushi restaurants in Abbotsford, this one is definitely the worst one we have tried. Would not recommend, have lost our business.
Used to be a good place to eat.. came for lunch didnt get any plates.. ordered prawn tempura got yam tempura when we told the lady she said u ordered yam she did refund jt but wouldn't be coming back due to lack of service I wanted to order more stuff there was no one to place an order with.. lost my business.
Interesting experience. We went in fairly close to closing. The waiter was friendly but not the most attentive. The staff were sitting at a table near the front eating KFC. The food came out in good time, the price was okay. Having said that, I probably wouldn't go back.
