My Mom had a medically-assisted death on October 7 and we called Jake to tell him a date had been selected and to make final arrangements. He was a big part of our family growing up and even though Mom had pre-arranged everything with him years ago, he still showed up the night before to surprise her and say goodbye in person. It was such a special moment to witness and his sense of humour and compassion was so comforting to us all during such an emotional time. Thank you for everything, Jake.
