The house is clean and beautifully located. You can relax and enjoy the views and become one with nature. The house is big, has everything you can wish for. In winter (we were there in December) I must say it was very, very cold but in the rooms the radiators worked perfectly so we were never too cold. Also the stove made the cold much better. The rooftop terrace is amazing. Having breakfast with views over the mountains and lakes... Perfect. Thomass always answered within 10 minutes and we felt very welcome in his house. The check-in works with a key box, also this was perfectly communicated and very handy. I simply can not say anything bad about this house. If you're looking for a place to relax and sit back, I would recommend this place a lot!

Great comfortable base for our road cycling trip. Abdet in September was warm and sunny with a pleasant freshness in the air. Cycling out everyday on the well maintained, quiet roads was a delight. Stopping off at small mountain villages for coffee's and lunch gave us a real taste of the true Spain. Fantastic!
Loved my stay at this house located in the center of a small, secluded Spanish villa. Close to many scenic locations by car (Guadalest, Benidorm, Algar, Altea..). House was very clean and equipped with everything you'd need for a long stay (kitchen with all kinds of utensils, washing machine with soap, wifi internet..). Straight forward self check-in and communicative host! All in all, a great place to stay.
Cycling Week 23 - 30 November 2019 The mix of excellent cycling, quality food, great company and good accommodation in a genuine Spanish village provided the best weeks cycling holiday I have had to date. Nothing was to much trouble for Tom, from feeding a group of hungry cyclists, to being a great guide, action photographer and bike technician. Whilst the terrain is most definitely undulating, the roads in the main are excellent, with traffic light in the extreme. I would highly recommend the holiday, location / accommodation to anybody interested in cycling, running or just experiencing the great outdoors of the hills / mountains of the Costa Blanca.
Enjoyed a great week in absolutely stunning surroundings, yet only a relative stone's throw from Benidorm. Tom lead us on some stunning routes on superb quality roads with epic downhills, mixed with classic Alpine climbs; quaint village coffee stops and wonderful mountain scenery; all ridden in short sleeves and shorts in late November ! The roads reminded me of New Zealand in that we pretty much had them to ourselves.. and not one "hoot" from any irate motorists. Great home made food prepped on site with tea & cake on returning from the ride. We also squeezed in a trail run on onto the Serrella range and a chilled out stroll around the magnificent Guadalest Castell. Great value, stunning location and scenery, smashing, knowledgable host and superb cycling and running.
Had an amazing week in the mountains, trail running, dipping in the mill ponds and staying in Abdet! Tom was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the area! We went on three guided runs throughout the week with Tom and they were a perfect challenge for our ability. There was so much option for making it a multi sport trip, with Abdet being perfectly located to enjoy a quiet evening on the rooftop watching the sunset or morning sunrise! Would 100% recommend! Looking forward to next year!
A fabulous 5 days spent running in the Mountains around Abdet. Great trails, great views, great guiding and great accommodation. Will be going back again!
Abdet Trail Running Week (Feb-17 to Feb-24). An unforgettable week in the Costa Blanca mountains! Each day featured a unique and rewarding trail to run with great company. I cannot wait to return and explore further. The area boasts stunning and diverse terrain, from gorgeous sea cliffs to mountain tops and scree fields, with Abdet firmly squared as the perfect launching point. Tom is a gracious and kind host, providing an experience which satiated both the legs and the belly (delicious dinner feasts each night!) From start to finish, the trip was well-organized, comfortable, and rewarding.
