I fully agree with the urgent need to reduce single plastic waste ( particularly as it’s plastic free July!)!but I am sick and tired of being woken at 05.30 hrs by a noisy diesel van racing round my Village at speed and accelerating with great urgency up my road. The air and noise pollution has to be weighed up against the plastic waste issue.. There has to be another way. A peaceful slow electric milk float in years gone by made sense.. this does not. The milk is from England also? Not even local.. even more food miles.
