I have been bringing my two dogs, Smoke and Ghost, both of whom can be difficult at the best of times, to the Pinehurst Pet Lodge for a little over six years now. The owner and the staff are incredible and they have won over my two easily. The accommodations are quite literally better and cleaner than some of the places that I stayed while in the military...air conditioning, private cubicles, an outdoor porch and a flat screen TV. And, during several personal emergencies, the owner of the facility reached out to me to offer his assistance in taking care of my dogs so that I could attend to family or personal matters. Great people and a great facility.

I just rescued my first dog ever, Zona, alittle more than a week ago. Zona's had a very rough start with humans so still more unknowns than knowns with this sweet girl. Being new to NC, my brother wanted to stop at the Pet Lodge (where he has taken his dogs for over 6 years) on the way to my house to introduce Zona to Jim (the owner). THANK GOD!! I was so lucky to meet Jim and Melissa who took Zona immediately. Since that time, Jim has not only provided training to Zona and, more importantly, me but has also given me invaluable advice and recommendations to ensure Zona's got a wonderful est of her life\ despite her start. I could not be more grateful. Just this week, Zona loved her spa day with Dena who handled her with extraordinary care. She will also venture into daycare at this beautiful facility while I'm sure on the lookout for her favorites, Melissa and Taylor. I have a feeling we'll be spending lots of time here!!
