Since moving to the UK I have found words like “craftsmanship, care and service,” to be words divorced from their original spirit, meaning and intent. So often especially in crafts and trade professions the industry is dominated by the lowest common denominator, efficiency is conflated with speed and quality with cost. Our experience with AC Electrical has bucked this trend and offered some insight into the once famed British work ethic, care, quality and a sense of duty. We scheduled the installation of five custom made heavy brass lights from Egypt. On arrival we found that we had a highly complicated job, the fittings, the wires, everything but the design was improperly constructed. Colin at AC Electric never gave up, was creative in his search for solutions, committed to completing his mission (to the point of cancelling his other appointments and dedicating the day to getting the job done.) He was patient, courteous and professional. Not once did he accept half quality measure or solutions. AC Electrical Services was not only professional to the highest standard they did so with a smile, a love for their work and a client focused approach which never seemed to wary of patience or dedication. Seeing craftsman like this is inspiring (I think they would complete to the highest standard a job at any level of complexity,) I hope I can bring the same tireless love to my own work. AC Electric was referred to me in glowing terms by my brother in law with accolades I was not accustomed to hearing from him. My first thought is that this will be an expensive ordeal.

I have no idea if they are good of bad at electrical work (hence 3 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt) but I called them twice for a quote and both times they said there would call me back but didn't. If they don't want the job they should just tell me.

First time call couldn't get through but it did call back to book appointment, when it came and repairs, the electrician was very friendly, I agree to give him a five star for the service and he wanted a ten star, I booked him for one hour and only took him 30 minutes to complete, but there's few problems he will send me instructions of DIY , later pay online, the DIY instructions was sender by BT mobile and cannot be open, I call him every day after day , he doesn't answer the phone and when he answer, it say he will call me back. I been chasing he for 2 weeks and give up , after the payment he doesn't want me anymore.
