Have been here over 20 years at least. LOVE the professional and friendly care all the staff possess. Doreen ( the owner) is always patient and explains clearly what should and should not be done and how to best approach unique needs etc. They are absolutely lovely and take such pride and care in all their work. Highly recommend!

Accent on Beauty is a beautiful, spotless day spa. Any time I go there I am taken on time; all staff are excellent. They will ask you what you want and listen to you. All of this makes for a relaxing experience.

I still need to take time to thank Doreen and her staff for all they have done for my mother She suffered from Parkinson’s and dementia I took her to accents on beauty regularly when she couldn’t come by herself anymore They were always patient kind and professional They made her last years better and happier She loved all the girls I could not make her illness go away but Acceny on beauty helped with quality of life smiles and kindness where I couldn’t Most of all they were always honest and told me what they could and couldn’t do safely They even gave her breaks during pedicures so she could stand and walk when she got restless They took their own time no extra charge to keep her safe and comfortable I myself have been coming here for 18 years and hope Doreen never retires

Visiting this beautiful facility I thought this would be a great place to get my first bikini wax done with a friend. I was wrong. While there my experience was great and though I anticipated the pain, when we left I was not concerned. After an hour when I said my area was still hot my doctor friend, whose appointment I joined, said that was strange. We inspected and found that several strips of my skin was removed. The next day I returned to Toronto and called Accent on Beauty, they refused to return my money and offered me an in store credit, despite me saying that I did not live in Ottawa. At the time I was calling while waiting at a walk-in clinic and the owner Darlene (?) said that I would have to return to Ottawa to verify that it was her salon's mistake and not something I have done. When I offered to show her a photograph she also said that would not confirm that I did not mutilate my own crotch. I was stunned that this woman would not credit me 30 and implied that I may have intentionally ripped my skin off my body. I am part Asian and my skin scars dark. The effected area is at the seam of my pubic area and my leg and I have had to sit wide legged and lubricated with polysporon to help the skin grown back. This is the complete opposite of the sexy that i thought I would feel and will last way longer than the wax job. After all this, and all I will continue to deal with as I heal and treat my new darkened crease, I was only offered a credit to my account that I cannot even fulfill as I live in Toronto.
