We've been in business for 11 years and this is the WORST company I had an exchange with. Communication was terrible to non-existent. When I would address a problem there would be no \sorry\ or \our bad\ just radio silence. Even when I wrote this directly to the owner of the company owner Ken Russel i was ignored. Invoices were false and the hours were doubled to tripled from what it should have taken ending with books full of errors that were useless and had to get thrown out and started again. Expenses and incomes were totally off, nothing adding up properly. This being the case even though our accounting is very basic and clear. Ended up having to hire in an house accountant to do the job I already paid this useless company thousands of dollars for. As suspected it took my accountant 40% of the time to complete the books. We will be filing a small claim against Access Accounting and turning to the BBB , as they never delivered anything of value and lied on the amount of time it took

They were great at first a few years ago, and then our regular book keeper left their company and we got someone new. Then we had 3 different people who would rotate showing up and have to be taught everything about us each time, and need refreshers. All of a sudden they never showed up for their scheduled book keeping date, with no notice via phone or email... Not to mention all of the discrepancies with invoicing us. I had to correct them almost every time the last year. And waiting a couple of months to invoice, and then a few times they sent over 3 different months at once. I would never recommend this company. They created a lot of headache for us and extra unnecessary work. Steer clear! They went downhill, and very quickly!

We've worked with access accounting for the last few years with several issues from filing excise tax late twice costing us over 1000 Total in penalties. They were very slow to file my income tax also, i sent in all tax docs in February and it wasn't filed until October, took them 8 months! Looking back and checking how they've billed us there are many inconsistencies, double billings, credits were promised and not given. We've been very unhappy with access accounting, they never answer the phone and don't respond to emails, i would recommend anyone considering access accounting to reconsider, they've hurt our companies bottom line and the official answer from Ken Russell is, I don't care! Steer clear of these amateurs!

Very short with me on the phone and didn't listen to my request. I understand that no information can be communicated over the phone, and was willing to make an appointment, but perhaps I called at a busy time because Mike, who I spoke with, wa not at all helpful

Ken and his team at Access have been a delight to work with. Ken does both my personal and business taxes and I truly don't know what I would do without him. While I own my own small business, accounting is definitely NOT my forte and Ken has made that part of my business a breeze. Ken helped me incorporate my business and has been great about answering any questions I've had. I would recommend Access to anyone - from filing your persona taxes to managing your business's bookkeeping - Access will take good care of you!
