We were disappointed to find that this trainer uses aversive training methods. Tools such as choke chains (also referred to as slip leads) were strongly encouraged. During the course of our pre-booked sessions, we noticed a significant deterioration in our dogs behaviour. Following leaving this trainer, and using only positive force free training, we have been able to overcome most of our dogs behavioural issues. Many of her techniques are old fashioned and not actively encouraged by decent qualified trainers.

Would highly recommend Lorna as she’s welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and listens and works on issues I’ve had with my Labrador. We all look forward to our weekly classes and come away feeling positive.
Lorna has helped my grumpy, attached Pekingese so much. From a dog that would snap at feet and have no social skills, he is now able to be in a large group of people and other dogs without any issues. Lorna’s knowledge and expertise with regards to dog (and the owner) behaviour is invaluable!
Although I have had and trained dogs myself all my life, I felt I needed a little helping hand with my current dog. I reached out to a couple of dog trainers, but soon felt that we would not work well together. I then came across Lorna's page and after having a lengthy chat, I realised that we shared many of the same views and my dog and I came along to her classes. I thoroughly enjoyed the group and training, loved training walks in the woods and picked up a few things along the way. I would highly recommend Lorna to any new and/or experienced dog owner!
