Dec. 2019 my husband had a hip replacement. I went in to Active Medical to purchase a few things like dry shampoo, a walker, etc. At that time they asked- \what else do you need?\ I said- \I don't know- what DO I need?\ They suggested renting a lift/recline chair. Sounded like a good idea so we rented the chair for a month. It definitely helped the recovery time and eased the pain. It was a godsend. We were grateful for their suggestion. Now my husband needs the other hip replaced....The first thing we did once the surgery was scheduled was reserve a lift/recline chair for his recovery. Active Medical is the place to go for supplies and good advice!

I've been coming to this store now for years. I typically have bought stuff for my older clients I do care for but more recently am buying CBD balm for myself. The owner Jane is just amazing. She can help you with anything you need and if she doesn't carry something you are looking for she will research whether or not she can get it for you! Her other emoloyee that works, Shelley, is equally as friendly and knowledgable. Active Medical has some wonderful new products. Recliner chairs where the back and legs operate independently from each other and goes all the way flat like a bed! This new smaller three legged walker that is amazing, an older friend of mine tried it today and just loved it! Yes, it doesn't have a seat but very maneuverable for your house and extremely light weight at 10lbs and the aluminum version weighs in at 7lbs. Little basket in front and a big zippered carry pouch in the back. (See photos) The new CBD balms and tincture she is selling is amazing! I can't tell you how many friends with pain issues I've sent it to buy this stuff, it truly works! (See photos) From wheelchairs to medical supplies to compression socks, I highly recommend checking out active Medical. What's even better is it parking lot behind and easily handicap accessible.

After visiting several medical supply stores in the Twin Cities following a recent health challenge, we found that Jane had the best selection and the customer service is great!
