I’ve come here several times with family and friends in the past few years, and everyone liked the food and services here. Today I came alone, as I am moving away from downtown Toronto and feel I will be missing Adega. I was seated on their patio on the second floor, which I didn’t know of its existence before and found dining here very pleasant. I ordered from their 45 3-course dinner prixe fixe menu — had grilled squid for appetizer, chicken breast for the main, and white chocolate caramel with rose tea for dessert. I don’t usually order chicken for main, but I liked how their chicken dish tasted. The texture was firm but juicy. I get squid and white chocolate caramel quite often when coming here. Both are always nicely done, and have a soft and tender texture. I especially like the dessert — the white chocolate bottom is slightly firmer than the top pudding-like layer, adding some more variations in texture. It is a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but perfectly balanced with the tea/coffee that comes with it. The presentation was very nice, too.

Great Portuguese restaurant with excellent service ! The place is cozy, suitable for romantic settings and business meeting as well. Excellent wine list and great selection of meals. Everything was tasty but I have to remove a star for the overuse of salt . We were 4 at the table, and we all agreed . And again I am ruthless about salt. Let your customer add it as they desire ... because it obviously can’t be removed .

Perfect place for quiet relaxing date or an after work dinner. Had one of the best Portuguese food experience! Highly recommend their tapas, definitely something you don’t find in any other restaurants. They have huge wine list! Service is super nice, our waiter made good recommendations for both food and drinks! Their menu isn’t big but they had bunch of daily specials! If you looking for something to relax and have nice quiet evening, this is the place

I frequent this special restaurant from time to time since I like the good air that is characterizes this place. The team is extremely helpful and skilfull. The service is impressively rapid. Most important, the food they serve is good. I frequent often and I was always pleased. The payment is honest. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Great seafood and a lovely setting! Although most businesses closed down after COVID, they managed to hang in there and re-open which is amazing. Last time i went there, which was a week ago, they seem to be understaffed and had to wait quite a bit to get our food. It is understandable that they are trying to cut staff wages costs when they already have thin profit margins. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

One of the oldest restaurant in Toronto. Its a Portuguese cuisine. So there are tons of sea food options on the menu. The place was pretty much packed. We had to make a reservation weeks ago. The food was great. They have good selection of wines as well. The appetizer grilled squid, tiger shrimp and the seafood soup etc were really noteworthy. The desserts were spot on. Overall a great place for a business dinner or any other occasion.
