***AVOID*** Myself and my friends booked this villa for 4 nights firstly in 2020 and then in feb 2021. Both times flights were cancelled due to covid. We always wanted to reschedule but this time Mark is been completely unreasonable. We checked his calendar for another date that was suitable for us which was showing availability. We contacted him about the new date and he was rude, abrupt and made us feel like we had to book a date of HIS choice. Firstly he said other people in Europe have more chance of going so he didn’t want to re book us (we are in the UK) then he said as it’s the school holidays he will only allow a 7 day booking but we could pick another date. We can only go in the school holidays as one of the party is a teacher. This is all absolutely fine with us but only feel that it’s fair he refunds our deposit as he can’t accommodate us even though the dates are free. He has point blank refused this and now we are getting ignored. We are all in the same position and surely a 4 day booking is better than nothing. We never wanted a refund just to reschedule. If anyone is planning to book in the future especially in these uncertain times request to pay your deposit through PayPal so if he does this to you, you stand a chance at getting your refund back or just avoid completely and look for someone who offers better protection of your money. We now have to find another villa and pay another deposit while he keeps ours!

DO NOT BOOK **Coronavirus** If you are thinking of booking this villa or are due to pay your final balance DON’T!! The owners are not accommodating despite everything that is going on. Initially I didn’t even want a refund I wanted to move our dates, I appreciate times are hard for villa owners. But I was given a flat out NO! The only way they would move the booking was if Tenerife were to go into lock down too! I have attached emails. This is just a warning that if UK lockdowns/quarantine/no travel came into place they won’t be considerate. We have now lost our deposit. I also booked through home away with a booking guarantee but this covers nothing and is quite useless in this situation.
