Very good camping near a lake where you can swim

Despite nice lake and good places for the tents, you stay in this camping was terrible. 1. A woman on reception was very unfriendly. As soon as she heard that we would like to stay one night only, she told that the camping is full. As we had a reservation, we were allowed to stay one night. In reality the camping was not full - so she just did not want to have guests for one night. 2. For toilets and showers access you need a chip. We have one chip for three adults persons. 3. Yes, that’s true, the toilets/showers are modern, but they were not be cleaned during the whole our stay in camping. So, I would not recommend this camping. There are enough campings around, also with lakes and with definitely much more friendly hosts.

Lovely camping area, with lots of shady trees, swimming lake and some bikes to borrow. Staff very helpful. Barrier is locked 1-3pm and 10pm-7am so plan your movements if you need your vehicle on/off site.

A really lovely little site on a lakeside, handy for trips to augsburg, Munich and dachau or just relaxing. Lots of trees and greenery so you can choose sunny or shady pitches. There aren't marked pitches so where people end up can be a bit chaotic and there's not really enough hook ups for high season, so cords are trailed long distances. They could really do with adding more facilities, as there's only 2 dish sinks and 8 showers across both bathrooms. No laundry or family washing. The passcards to access toilets and showers seems unnecessary. Best for shorter stops. But these were small points really. It was beautifully quiet in the evenings, without exception those around us were friendly and the lake was a joy to swim in, better than a pool I've decided. The owners speak great English and helped us find a dog sitter while we were at dachau. We really enjoyed our 5 nights here. Recommended.

Clean. friendly. reasonable. 12 euro cheaper than lech camping 200m down the road. Beautiful lake. Enjoyed our stay
