The place to eat! So good, it makes me reconsider all the other reviews I ever gave. This trattoria alone would be a reason enough to come to lovely Aggius. The service makes me want to give a 6th star

A real nice place at the heart of Gallura. Absolutely worth a visit. Great foods and wines.
What a wonderful little find, quite literally tucked away in the hillside village of Aggius. A small, cosy and clearly very popular little wine bar & trattoria, appearing to be family run with a simple yet tasty menu that's well complimented by a comprehensive wine list, of predominantly Sardinian wines including red, white, rose and friscato wines in both white and rose. The service was personal and very good, gratefully with the waitress speaking a little English. Google translate helped with the Italian menu although the waitress was quick to bring an English version. At lunchtime the restaurant is open until 2.30pm before re-opening in the early evening. Although the hours aren't long our meal was relaxed, not rushed in anyway. We favoured a trip to Aggius rather than eating in nearby Tempio Pausania. Parking wasn't a problem in Aggius. Travelling time from Tempio about 15 minutes, about 40/45 minutes from Palau. Il Mosto a lovely little restaurant and well worth a visit.
One of the best I have ever tried. The environment is just authentic, service is good, food is superb! Un orgasmo di piacere....
