This is probably the WORST company I’ve ever had to deal with. I was told that they only have two technicians for the entire company. Oh, and did I mention that one tech handles the Columbia area and the other handles Florence and Sumter. So the likelihood of you getting any quality work is slim to zero! I really hate not leaving a positive review for any company as reviews are s how a lot of companies get new business. Seeing how I DON’T consider this a company, all is fare... Stay clear of Air Plus. You can thank me later...

I knew from the previous reviews that I wouldn’t get a good experience. Rhonda, the receptionist, was the best part of the experience, and I think she did an A job. The service tech themselves did not meet my expectations by any means. My unit was very old and needed to get changed out, so old that it didn’t have a serial # on the outside. The tech simply guessed the size of the unit, and did almost no work on trying to figure out what kind of unit I would even need. He ultimately told me I should try to get my own unit to install myself from a place that wasn’t EPA approved. It was really sketchy and illegal to go the route he suggested. The home warranty wasn’t going to do anything for me, so he told me to call the office back if I wanted to use them for the service. I ultimately decided to go with someone else and get a new unit installed. I made no agreement to do anymore servicing. Get this, I got a call today telling me that I need to pay 900 because the tech had decided to order the part without my permission! Crazy.

ZERO STARS. Terrible service and the receptionist acts like she doesn’t know what’s going on. Our home warranty company contracted them to fix our ac units. The first time they came out and replaced our capacitor, spent 10 minutes or less looking at the system and left without leaving a work order of what they did. Two weeks later our system broke again. This is in July, I might add. We were told it would be 5-7 business days for the compressor to come in ( why would it take that long?!). I called 5 business days after the service date for an eta and was told it takes 7-10 business days for the part to come in and the receptionist didn’t know the status of it, the tech did (what?!). We notified her that we have a baby in the house with medical equipment and medicines that spoil at a certain temperature and all she sounded like she didn’t really care. Like I said, terrible service

I'm an AHS customer, and have had numerous issues this year. Edison has been kind, polite and very informative. Other than the 3 weeks I had to wait for certain parts to be ordered and come in AND the home office in Sumter is very tough to get a hold of, it was a painless situation. Edison gets 5 stars, the home office gets 3 stars so I gave 4 stars.

Air Plus Service customer service was painstaking, disappointing and to sum it up ...poor at best, as they never followed up with the owner nor the property manager or tenant during this time of repair issues until I finally made a call to American Home Shield (AHS) 1 week later. Upon which they then notified the tenant that the part would take 7-10 business days to order after she had been awaiting repair for a week already. Additionally, when (tenant, owner and property manager) reached out to Air Plus Service, there wasn't a way to contact them or leave any information due to their voice mails being full. I strongly advise if your warranty company assign Air Plus Service to you...please request another company, no person should not have a mix up that takes 2.5 weeks to get their HVAC repaired. I eventually had to go out of pocket and have another company correct what A Service could not...if you are reading this, the other recommendations on Google paints the picture more vividly...even with the few positive reviews, there are too many well documented negative reviews to overlook the good outcomes.

My first experience with this company was back in October of last year. AHS sent this company out to follow up after the first company they sent continued to not fix my AC. It is July and I still don’t have a working AC. The last person they sent out told me my AC was just old but working fine. He tells me this as it is 82 in my house with ceiling fans and box fans running in every room. 82 when it is set to 72 DOES NOT MEAN IT WORKS.

Responded quickly after my warranty company contacted them. They responded exactly the day and time frame given. The tech Jason was very thorough about what the issue was st hand. He was also very professional more than I can say for the previous company that was sent by my warranty company.

They are the worst, and need to stop cheating people out there money ,and cheating the company's, ,they let's the freon out my ac unit and caught them lies ,I highly recommend that businesses be shut down ,went out air for 3 weeks ,had another company came in fix my problem in 1 hour with no problem, if I could rate it be big zeros
