Won’t stand behind their products. Their OTC braces are non-refundable even if poorly constructed. I contacted the company that sold the product and they claimed it’s on the retailer to provide the exchange/refund (but Wellwise policy is no refunds). There are much cheaper and better quality options available online. The item I purchased was not functional after a few weeks of use/- the Velcro was not sticky and was also unfinished with sharp edges, resulting in a deep scratch on my baby. For the kind of injury the brace treats, I’d expect it’d last a bit longer. The store would get 1 star, but the customer service reps were nice, so 2 stars.
I had a good experience in the store when I purchased a hospital type bed along with several other items totaling over 5,000 for an ailing senior friend but not so much when the bed needed to be repaired. They charged me 100 to send a repairman to access the bed which wasn’t necessary as I sent them pictures of the part that was obviously damaged. If that wasn’t enough, the guy they sent said the four-year-old 3,000 bed was a write off because the manufacturer told him the part I needed was no longer available. I called the manufacturer myself, got the part for 105 and had it installed for another 200. Much better than spending another 3,000 plus delivery and HST to replace the bed. I mentioned I thought it was unfair to charge 100 to send someone who obviously doesn’t have a clue about the repairs on the beds they sell but my concerns were ignored. Update: Not long after I posted this review I was contacted and refunded the 100 plus HST that was paid for the repairman to visit the site the bed is at as well as given what I believe to be a sincerely apology for the oversight and my trouble. Much appreciated. I will still do business here again in the future should the need arise.
