The park up a ways from the base has some great slides that the kids love. It's a great spot with the castle serving as the backdrop... I can't wait for the cherry blossom season!

The park offers many sport venues. Tennis, bicycle oval, soccer and baseball fields. The park is part of the Akashi castle. Good acces by both public transportation and car.
