Travel is a treasure trove of memories! And that comes into picture only when you have a great experience! Adnan and his team ensured we were pampered throughout our stay at their boathouse. From local sightseeing experiences to shopping experiences—everything was so genuine and so heartwarming. I am leaving this place only to return and make more memories with them!

I would highly recommend this place for stay when visiting Kashmir. This boat house in particular just feels like home. Right from the time we stepped in to the house boat till the time we left we had a very great hospitality. They provide any type of food that you would prefer to eat. They have a cook here to prepare any food of your own choice. Its our last day in Kashmir and luckily we chose our last day stay in Akbar group of heritage house. At the same time we are unlucky too because our total days of stay in Kashmir is 6 days, we missed the opportunity to stay here all the 6 days. As a whole it was a great place that you should never miss when you visit Kashmir ️
We stayed here for a day but we realized we should have stayed longer. It's beautiful and the owner is a great host. The view, food, hospitality is amazing. This must be on your to do list while you are visiting Kashmir.
Akbar Houseboat is a one-of-a-kind experience. Passionate people welcome you here with a smile and open hearts. The hospitality of Adnan, Jana, and Hilal ji is unmatched and its status on TripAdvisor as #1 in Nigeen doesn't say enough about what constitute that rank. The luxury on the boat is something that must be experienced first-hand. 2021 was the year that the Dal lake froze after years. Yet, the electric blankets, the bukhara in the room, and even the ones in the common rooms made it more than comfortable for us to enjoy the place even when it was -7 at night. We slept warm and well-fed on the delicious food that Hilal ji made for us, the ever-smiling love of Jana, and the unmatched hospitality of Adnan. The shikara ride with Majeed ji, where we spent two lazy afternoons swaying gently from Nigeen to Dal lake is an experience we think we got addicted to. To top it all, Adnan ensures there's a kangri and blanket to keep you warm even there! It's this thought and effort that makes Akbar houseboat a nageena on Nigeen. Adnan was sweet enough to arrange for us a visit to the old city of Srinagar. A visit to Srinagar is incomplete without going to the old heritage city. Visit Shahe Hamdan, Tomb of Zain-ul-Abidin's Mother, Pathar Masjid, and don't miss the old buildings and architectural heritage of Srinagar. We came as guests and left with a want to come back home again.
Excellent stay for 04 nights at Houseboat Akbar Group Of Heritage and we want stay more but unfortunate our tickets was Confirmed, We are sure that definetly we will return back.. The food was fabulous and the hospitality was excellent by Mr. Adnan and his team... Highly recommended this place
One of best houseboat in Nigeen lake. We have got fantastic Royal hospitality. Houseboat its like a home, we have spend two days here....it was unforgettable experience. Excellent wifi service, and we have got good views of Nigeen lake and we have captured lots of photos..food also very was delicious, cleaned room, 247 hot water...Well decorated houseboat by antique furniture. If you want to seat on shikara and want to make video please come here and enjoy your holidays... More Important this houseboat was fully sanitized also... I would highly recommend this Akbar Group Of Heritage Houseboats In Srinagar, Kashmir and Specially thanks to Mr.Adnan and team whom arragened all excellent hospitality and services ... Definitely we will return back one day and stay over here more longer... best regards..

Amazing place to stay with lake view ! We stayed for 4 nights and the place was clean and well maintained ! Amazing hospitality by the owner . Would suggest to opt without second thought ... kudoos to the team ! Keep it up ! Good job
