Not helpful at all. The guy basically told me that he can’t help me find out what is taking my taxes so long to process.

Be nice to know when the office will be open to the public!!!!

I have used this office multiple times with great results! Every time I have visited I received great service and resolution of my issues. It is located in the Federal Courthouse, so be aware they are very serious about security; Consider leaving metal or other unnecessary items in your trunk to speed your security check. Once you arrive at the office, there is a umber\ touchscreen at the far side of the office. Just enter the type of issue you are having, and you will be seen as soon as possible. The MOST important thing is to be patient. Every person will be seen and given the fullest attention to resolve their issue. Make sure you have all documents they may need, and be polite and friendly; you will receive the same in return.

Good luck getting in touch with anyone at this office or any dealings with the IRS. Be prepared to wait on hold in excess of 30 minutes to one hour with repeated recordings about how sorry they are they do feel the need to staff the agency in a manner that actually serves the needs of the people they are well paid to assist. And they wonder why they are the most hated and feared branch of the government.

You can just walk in, but you have to go through security and if you're in line when the time comes for them to close, the line is turned away to return another day. This is regardless of how long the people in front of you took or how simple and short your transaction will be.
