My son just renewed his license. The clerk made him take off his glasses -- which I was not required to do -- and then told him that he looks better without them. Why would someone say that? Opinions on one's appearance should not be stated by employees, especially government employees. Not that it's any of that person's business, but my son has a rare eye disease and can no longer wear contacts. I'm livid.

I needed to replace a lost license. I tried to get the new, enhanced license but was not successful. The information in the database contained only my middle initial rather than the full middle name. So my passport information which has the full middle name did not match. The representative made the change to the system but could get the passport to be accepted. She was extremely helpful and tried everything to get the passport information to be accepted. The system was unyielding so I settled for the regular license. I am not sure why the passport information was rejected but I hope that when my license expires, the problem will be solved.

Ok, listen up! No other BMV compares to this one. Hands down the best! Everyone is super nice. They are also really professional, helpful and efficient. Even when the lines are long, they clear em out quick. I've been going there since I got my license when I was 17. I'm 35 now, I've always had a fast friendly experience.
