Use Eduardo and don't even think about any other shop. Done. Hard stop! Besides the incredible hospitality, and flexibility with our schedule, the best thing about Eduardo is that he was as excited for our dives as we were! Beyond the great service and experience I feel like we made friends for life with Eduardo and Anna, his other dive guide. Can't wait to return to the area and be with them again! Also, Eduardo speaks just about every language on earth so wherever you are from he's your guy.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Blue Experience Diving and met the new owners Eduardo and Sarah and their beautiful Husky dog \Cousteau\. Fresh out of our PADI certification, we felt extremely well cared for and got to experience the very best of local scuba diving including ocean dives in Akumal as well as beautiful Cenotes. Eduardo and Sarah have spent their career in the hotel industry and their love of delivering true hospitality shows through and through. If you are looking for some genuine personal service and friendship, I whole heartedly recommend Blue Experience Diving.

I found this dive shop by chance. After messaging another about a morning dive in Akumal, they told me to contact Tim and Sarah. They highly recommended them and I am so glad that they did because I had a wonderful 2 dives. The shop is lovely and clean with everything you need neatly organized. Theres also lots of info/materials available (something I really appreciated). I was lucky enough to have Tim to myself for our dives! He is calm, collected, and easygoing - he thoughtfully planned our day and gave me thorough debriefings of all aspects (gear/boat/dive site/etc). Tim has a passion for diving and aquatic life that makes the day that much better. The dive sites were stunning and Tim and Sarah are the ones you want to see them with. I wish I had had more time to check out the cenotes with you guys - next time!

I had a great 4 days diving with Tim. The first day the sea was too choppy to go out and Tim quickly got me onto a Cenote dive at Dos Ojos, which was great. We spent one day up at Puerto Morelos diving the C-56 minesweeper wreck followed by a great reef. I also did 2 days diving from Akumal, great reefs, lots of turtles and a reef shark. Tim and Kathryn are super. I got a flat tire the first day, on my rental car. Tim did his best to help me change the wheel, but it was rusted in place. He took my car key and I gave National Car his number, so they could coordinate replacing the car which was outside his shop. I appreciate that he really went out of his way to help me out. The Akumal dives are off the Playa and you can meet Tim at the Akumal Dive Shop in the morning, which is more convenient if you are staying in Akumal itself. His equipment was excellent and the dive briefing and attention to safety were great.
