I had a great experience at Akwaba Hair Braiding. I've been coming here on and off for the past 3 or 4 years now and I am always pleased with the end result of my hair. The ladies are very accommodating of my need for a gentle touch since I am quite tender headed. They also provide hand sanitizer and maintain wearing their masks which made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend going here!

I had made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday to get my hair French braided walked into the salon they told me they were booked and couldn't do my hair. I was like I had an appointment they said come back in 1 hour. So I left. So irritated and I will never come back here.

My 8yo got her box braids done here. We got exactly what we asked for based on the picture we showed them. My daughter is tender headed (at least for me), and she didn't complain at all. The price is a bit high, but they have the hair and everything, even purple like my daughter wanted. I would go in person to get your price quote and appointment because there can be a language barrier on the phone.

Best salon for braids, my favorite is Kinky twist. The ladies are really nice and take their time doing the braids. Giving you the best quality of styling ever. I've had my hair braided in Kinky twist six times in the past three years.
