This is the countryside of Plateau State, in Northern Nigeria. The photo was taken in the wet season while farming activities were on as can be seen by the manual form of ridges in the fields. Each farmland is bounded by cactus plant to be protected from animals. The cactus plants are mostly used to secure our homes than farmlands. A breathtaking sight where a natural architecture is at display.
