Nice place for a day trip. Good for family fun. Specially for kids. They will love it. Lots of birds and free moving around you.

This is the area adjacent to Reifel open Mon-Fri during office hours. There is a small visitor parking area and three trails open to the public. Washroom facilities were clean.

Until I visited, I had no idea Canadian geese were capable of patience or neutrality. These were the calmest geese I've ever seen and would definitely visit again just for that. Make sure you bring a mask (because on the day I went, many visitors don't have them), and snacks (because the main entrance doesn't have many snacks).

Amazing place to go for some pictures or take your family for a learning experience. Plenty of ducks and geese that come right up to you and chance to see some rare birds. Worth multiple visits to catch a glimpse of the birds that come year round. You can take a lunch inside and it's fairly inexpensive and great for a day out. Don't forget to buy or bring some bird seed. Its 1 for a small bag at the sanctuary.

Good for kids to touch nature and wildlife birds, good for family to enjoy fresh smell and seasonal view, and some exercise as well. Wonderful outdoor activity!
