The store is small and locally-owned. It is run by a lively and talkative woman named April. Admittedly, this wasn't the first Clay Studio I looked at, but I sure am glad I chose to go to this one. She offered me and my girlfriend a one-on-one session. Where we'd sit down and learn about clay and how it works and how to work it, then make something simple like a cup or plate. She was more than knowledgeable and willing to explain how things worked and how the Clay and other clay materials reacted. She offers classes with groups. She does table work and spinning work. The studio is also able to be rented out as a place for you to do your own clay working. For both storage, a place to work, and a kilm. I would recommend this place to any first-time clay users as well as those looking for a place to professionally do their clay working.
