I was served cold, burnt, dayold, home fries at 7:30am. A sign let us know that only one refill was allowed on coffee. The server and owner was very friendly to the regular guests but my guest and I did not feel the love. I will not sip from Alan's cup again. EVER!!

I absolutely love the pastrami/chedder cheese on grilled rye! The rest of the food made there is also great. But my favorite is pastrami on rye.

I'm an early morning person. Al's is the only place I know that opens early. I'm sure there's other places but Al's C&S is tops on my list. Great place.
