A belated, but none-the-less enthusiastic, review for Mills & Honey with our sincere thanks to Alfonso and Helena for making our week of cycling a fabulous one! They took care of everything for us - airport transfers, bike rentals (nicer than our bikes at home!), recommending fabulous restaurants and cycling with us on some amazing routes. Our group of 6 were somewhat diverse in cycling abilities with certain days more of a challenge for some than others. When possible, two routes were provided to provide everyone with a level of cycling that they were comfortable with. We highly recommend Mallorca as a cycling destination; the roads are quite and in top condition, drivers are courteous to cyclists and there are many challenging routes to choose from. Book with Mill & Honey for a fantastic cycling holiday! Thanks Alfonso and Helena, we look forward to seeing you again soon!

It has been just a couple of months since our M&H trip. I wanted to let some time go by before I wrote my review, in order to avoid irrational exuberance. With the benefit of time, this was certainly my best biking vacation ever, and one of my top vacations of all time, and I go on plenty of vacations. Sure, in the planning stages, Alfonso seemed very easy to work with, adjusting our dates as needed and providing answers to every question I or my friends posed. I even tracked down prior clients and emailed them for their opinions. When it came time to book, I was still a bit unsure of whether it made sense to go with a small company. A few weeks before our trip, Alfonso sent detailed Ride with GPS routes, and I started to believe this could work. M&H organized everything to perfection. The hotels were amazing, the restaurant recommendations were awesome. The transfers were flawless. Everything just worked. Mallorca itself was a true joy. It is a cycling Mecca, filled with cyclists on some of the most beautiful roads I have ever been on. Our weather happened to be perfect, drivers were courteous and the roads were well maintained. Mallorca, like other places in Spain has terrific food, with emphasis on seafood. Despite all the climbing you may do (and it is your choice), you won’t lose weight here. I completely recommend M&H to anyone seeking a perfect cycling vacation, either self-guided as ours was, or guided. In fact, we liked it so much we may even go back!
The routes were spectacular, the hotels beautiful. charming, and friendly. The food at the hotels was outstanding, and the service was great. Alfonso knows the island so well that he knows special places off the beaten paths. He, Mark, Luis, and Adrian are ambassadors for Mallorca and were the nicest, most interesting, helpful guides we have ever encountered on a guided trip. By trips end we were all friends promising to meet again, and the departure hugs were all genuine. I highly recommend Mills & Honey - Alfonso is dedicated to his guests' enjoyment and will adapt to almost anything to make their trip the best it can be. And he's a truly engaging and friendly person who's skill as a business owner emerges repeatedly. I would give them 6 stars if Google would let me.
I am a travel agent in Anchorage, Alaska and Alfonso planned the perfect biking trip for 14 of us. We had amazing accommodations. His restaurant reservations and suggestions were fabulous. We had choices in routes for every ride and Helena was amazing support. Their knowledge of the area and attention to detail was second to nothing. I plan and sell these trips for a living and this one was one of the best. He even sends an app with the complete itinerary loaded with every piece of information you could ever need as well as an app with the routes that could be downloaded so that it did not use data. He has thought of it all.
This was my first time in Mallorca and my first experience with Mills & Honey. For cycling, Mallorca is tough to beat. The island has superb weather (at least in April!), diverse terrain, quality roads & a cycling culture (respect afforded to cyclists by cars, trucks & buses). As for equipment, don’t bother bringing your bike – you can rent virtually anything you want at reasonable rates. Did I mention the food? Plenty of choice, high quality and friendly/professional service. As regards Mills & Honey, I was super impressed with the platform Alfonso & Helena have created, particularly their digital offering. Download their App (seamlessly integrated with Ride w/ GPS) and you have a daily itinerary with downloadable routes (inclusive of turn-by-turn navigation) and all sorts of suggestions of what to see/do and spots to eat. The App also includes a messaging feature which enables you to communicate with Alfonso & Helena in real time. This puts you in control of your experience: want to go longer, shorter or change stuff up? Just message Alfonso & Helena and they will customize a new route and post it on the fly! We stayed in two different boutique hotels selected by Mills & Honey and both were excellent. Alfonso & Helena handled all the logistics perfectly from moving luggage to airport transfers (Alfonso drove me both ways). We also did a point-to-point ride one day and Alfonso shuttled us home. Finally, these trips can succeed or fail on the quality of your hosts. If you’re contemplating a trip to Mallorca, check in with Alfonso; awesome guy full of fun, energy and local knowledge (I didn’t have an opportunity to spend time with Helena). Mills & Honey offers and fantastic service at a reasonable price. I recommend them without hesitation. When I return to Mallorca, I will definitely be giving them a call! You should too!
Best Cycling Trip ever! My wife and I (and two other couples) went on an 8-day self-guided cycling trip organized by Mills and Honey in late September / early October, and it was unquestionably the best cycling trip we've ever been on (and we've been on many other trips with Backroads, Pedal & Seas, Great Explorations, etc.). Mallorca itself is a fabulous place to cycle (well-maintained roads, beautiful scenery, epic climbs, etc.), and all of the organizing done by Alphonso and Helena really enhanced our trip (excellent online trip itinerary, easy-to-follow GPS ride instructions, charming boutique hotels and wonderful restaurants). I can't see enough about how well this trip was organized. I'm recommending Mills and Honey to all my friends.
Mills and Honey put together a fully custom riding trip for our group of six. Alfonso and his crew took excellent care of us and all our travel needs. All the logistics were looked after by his team, which made the whole experience stressless. Mallorca is a beautiful location to ride, with stunning scenery. It is an island rich with culture. However, our trip would not have been nearly as memorable and perfect without the help of Mills and Honey. I would highly recommend them and can't wait to go back for more!
Mills and Honey provided our group of four friends a most spectacular cycling holiday. From start to finish, we could not have asked for a better experience. Alfonso and Helena are the absolute best. From route planning to hotel selection and food recommendations, we could not have been in better hands. Hope to return soon; and will not consider doing so without booking the entire trip through Mills & Honey again.
