I was in the building for an appointment with another facility in the area and the office was closed without notice. I called AK Center for Dermatology and they were able to get me in within a half an hour. Although the staff was incredible, my time with the doctor was less than desirable. After I voiced my concerns, the office manager called me to discuss my visit and set me up with a timely appointment with another provider, Dr. McLeish. She assisted my concerns, laid out a plan of action and referred me for further testing after conducting a few tests in their office. The provider who I saw on my first visit called and said that he was made aware of the dissatisfaction with my appointment with him. He understood and addressed my concerns with the visit. He apologized and asked if he could check in on my progress with the other provider within the office. His apology was heartfelt, unexpected and very much appreciated. Although completely unnecessary, the office manager kindly called a couple of days later to also check in and ensure that I was satisfied with my continued care. I voiced my appreciation for their staff, both providers that I saw in office and to her for checking in again. Their follow up calls made it very clear that they take pride in their work, reputation and service to our community.

Great staff, just too busy They book 15 minute increment appointments, so they are always running behind. Not to mention it FEELS rushed. If I was looking for a new dermatology practice I'd find a place less busy Katie McIntosh
