My wife and I, for over 25 years, used to faithfully patronize the Rite Aid store in Albion, NY. We frequently purchased, (via private Rx insurance plan), over 1,000.00 per month at the pharmacy. We also liked the sale prices and extensive selection of other “drugstore” products. The managers, John U. and previously John P., were customer oriented and knew how to treat patrons. Today, I put the Albion Walgreens at the very bottom of my go-to list. Exorbitant prices and very limited selection. Anyone buying prescription medicines could save a lot of co-pay money by checking prices at the Albion Wal*Mart. In addition, the customer would not have to deal with the indifferent manager Holly and the adverse Richard.

I've been using Rite Aid pharmacy for gosh... over 10 years now, and was always happy with them. Yes the new Walgreens pharmacy is different, but so far I am happy with the staffs professional service. 5 stars !

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely THE worst costumer service and pharmacy team I have ever experienced. Every single time I go to fill my prescription there is an issue on there end. Then they will lie to me on the phone and say that they have the brand I need in stock, I will drive all the way there to pick it up to find the wrong brand and not what is on my prescription. This has happened MULTIPLE times. As if they think I won’t notice that the same prescription I have been getting for the past 7 years all of a sudden changed. My insurance covers it, my doctor prescribed it and they are just to lazy to order it. I suggest using the pharmacy at Walmart in Albion but let’s face it a bunch of goldfish could probably do a better job at this point.
