Really nice dessert but the manager was incredibly rude to me, a Asian girl who is obviously excited with their stuff, but she was warm heartedly introducing items to a group of middle aged men. Three stars off for the awful attitude although I know it won’t affect their popularity. You should still try.

Their desserts look incredible, though we found that they were a bit disappointing and didn’t taste nearly as good as they looked. And considering they have award winning pastries, I was expecting better. They were still good but they were also pricey. The staff seemed to work quickly to try to get through the line of people. It seems they go by number and you have to take a number when you enter the store and I don’t think that was very well noted, especially since it was not right close to the counter. They have washrooms which are nice and some seating. Inside the bakery has also been designed nicely. If you don’t speak Portuguese, ordering might be a bit of a guessing game. The lady who served me didn’t speak much English, and although she tried to describe what some items were, which was very nice of her, there were still some that ordered without knowing what was in it. If you go, I would recommend the nata. It is one of the best I’ve tried in my travels of Portugal (I always try a nata when it’s available). These ones were quite good.

Good service and nice pastries. To be honest, I generally don’t like Portuguese pastries (too much eggs and sugar to my taste) but we tried an assortment here (all the ones who won an award) and I really liked most of those I tasted. The lady who served us was very welcoming.

Possibly the best pastries in a radius of 100km. Absolutely exquisite.

Collects awards like no other. There is a reason for so many awards. Worth a visit every time we're in the area.

Delicate and nice desserts, but much too sweet and the only flavour was sugar and nothing else. Delícias do Convento is worth trying though.
