It was a bit confusing to find this hostel because the streets are traditionally narrow in Alcochete, but Google maps took me there by foot in less than five minutes from where the bus dropped me! The lady is very, very, very, very nice and helpful even though her English is non existent (she's also an older lady). I'm Portuguese so my English friends had no need to try at all, but if you're not a Portuguese speaker, don't know the basics, or have no one with you that can help, maybe think of that in advance and learn the simple things or manage another way. The breakfast isn't included because well, it's a hostel buy your stuff and cook it, the kitchen is open until I think 10PM. It's a very spotless clean place and the rooms bathroom (I got a triple single bed room) is very big, lots of space for a small hostel, definitely didn't see that bathroom coming! The hostel seems small because the houses are narrow and wall to wall, but its high and goes deep. I was very well impressed, again, with how clean the place is and how nice the lady was. Close to the river too, just make sure you have internet (no wifi there, at least not in 2015) and google maps to navigate those narrow labyrinth like streets! Whenever I'm around I won't look anywhere else, I'll go straight to that cosy little hostel for sure! Thank you!
