This was the first time we had used Alconbury Hill Kennels for our 11 year old Jack Russell and were understandably nervous at leaving our dog but we needn't have worried as we were greeted by a friendly man who put our minds at ease. Our dog happily went in and when we picked him up after being away a week he came out just as happy as he went in!!! Although this was our first time it definitely won't be our last and I would highly recommend this boarding kennel to anyone!! Thank you Gareth and Andrea Brown. We wish you every success for the future and look forward to using your kennels again.

It closed. I don't really have an opinion. Edit: Sorry my mistake, I thought that I was doing a review for my neighbours who run a cattery and had been closed down by the council. But I don't know of our dogs going to this kennel but from what I have heard, it's a good kennel and cattery.

Even though just come out of lockdown and after a busy weekend, was very clean and tidy.. Could see pets were well cared for and they knew the staff, so tells you they spend time with your pet.. Vet busy but still managed to fit my cat in between appointments.. Certainly would think about using this cattery in future

I was pleased with the service and communication, from booking to collecting our pet. I like that the cats have the ability to watch the chickens, and can go in/out on their own. If needed I will not hesitate to book again.

Oh wow, Andrea, Gareth an all at Alconbury kennels are so much more than just a place for your dog to stay. Our dog Tessa is an extremely sensitive rescue, the first time I took her to visit, they were patient, kind an clever at her introduction that to my astonishment she not only bustled off to see all the out door areas but didn’t want to leave!. There were no problems when I took her for the 1st stay, she was so happy an we’ll cared for. I’ve just taken her for a 2nd stay an she literally ran in so familiar an excited, which was incredible an Tessa was so happy an confident on collection which speaks volumes. They truly understand all the dogs an their characters an ensure they are so well cared for. On top of this it’s immaculate an fresh an Andrea is so conscientious with what they like to eat an comforts. Alconbury kennels comes highly, highly recommended.
