In hindsight I should have sued this company. They are a disgusting company and the people who work there are very very very incompetent. Some things that they did wrong. The manager is particularly bad at her job and rude. Please note they are still the same company and they're claiming to be a different one in review replies- they've just changed the address and category. -held our deposit for SEVEN MONTHS after we moved out of the property -whenever we rung to get our deposit back they told us we would be called back or the manager was 'busy'- we had to ask a third party company to help us get the deposit back in the end. -try to charge us for a professional cleaning fee when the property wasn't clean when we moved in. -lost one of the spare keys in their office, they actually did not remember where and who they had given this too -after 'loosing' our key- we said that noone was to come around our house until we had moved out in a few weeks time. We came home from work one evening to the lights on in our flat and someone had LET THEMSELVES IN with the 'missing' key to take photos. We should have called the police. -called us whilst we were away at the weekend as our apparently our flat was leaking and the flat below was 'ruined'. They sent us pictures of the leak and it wasnt even our flat. We rushed home early. The flat below was not ruined either. -Our flat did eventually have a leak- in areas which we could not access- basically our bathroom was out of use for two months- we had to shower elsewhere- landlord and countrywide did NOTHING about this. -infact- when they did- they sent us a PAINTER AND DECORATOR around to sort a leak???? -this was not finished until we had moved out- we even had to claim overused of water back from the water provide because of the leak. AVOID- should not be allowed to operate.

Stay well away, most unprofessional company have had the experience using. Withheld the deposit for months, lied to constantly. Complete scam of a company, avoid Countrywide at all costs.
really bad service, was asking to view a place but they can't even set up a meeting without asking for further info, and they never even call back, asked another friend of mine to call and report a higher income, they gave info almost immediately , discrimination .... not using it ever, i have better service in mcdonalds
