Wow! This place isn’t on the tourist map and we happened to explore it by chance! I’m so glad we did because this was the sitting place of the Brazilian government before it was moved to the current capital. In addition, we had a personal guide that took us through the whole complex including assembly room and library - brilliant! Amazing mosaics and frescos throughout the building dedicated to the guiding principles of Brazil - do it!
