The second time I have been in the shop and the second time the owner was very rude! The first was years ago when I was looking to buy a dress for a ball, and was practically laughed out the shop being told it was bridesmaid dresses only and they would not suit the event I was attending, this was without even listening to how dressy the event was going to be and I left feeling embarrassed. I thought this may have been a one off, as everyone can have a bad day. My mum went in 2 weeks ago to select a mother of the bride outfit, and left feeling as though she had inconvenienced the owner, however she really loved the outfit so took me to see it. The shop door was lying wide open, so my mum and I presumed it was opened, but to our shock we were chased by the owner who told us in a very rude and dismissive manner they were closed for a fair. My mum was in to buy, and to spend a substantial amount of money, and if we had been told politely we would have made an appointment to return. My mum has been left feeling upset by the whole situation. The owner should realise how big a purchase these outfits are for people, and
