Would have been 5 based on their vegan selection alone. Unfortunately Aldi has become a victim of its own success and for me it was too crowded especially given the times we're currently living in. Please post somewhere details of times when less busy.

Good selection of foods with the addition of items in the centre aisles offering things that are on special. Their own branded products are not as good as the original but some are fairly close and lower priced.

The Autistic Driver

Visited this Aldi branch following serious disappointment at the Heanor branch. The Alfreton branch is clean, well stocked, and well laid out. Picked up everything I needed, and for a great value. The store is fairly new, and has a wider range than is available at the Heanor branch. The bargain bins across the centre of the store are organised and kept neat and tidy. The staff that I have talked with during the couple of visits I have made so far have been very polite and helpful. Edited to say I was in there today and disappointed to find mouldy fruit in the fresh produce section. Worse still, when I went to a stag member and suggested somebody needs to check the fresh produce section, she too the bag of orange I had taken to her as an example, put it on the trolley that she was carrying meat to put out on, and then completely ignored it. I had expected her to inform somebody that the section needed checking, but no. When I left about 40 minutes later, still nobody had bothered to check the section. Disgusting behaviour!
