Just attended a hearing review will the most arrogant audiologist I've ever met. The customer is always wrong unless you are paying privately, of course. What a dispicable young man. One of his pearls of wisdom was 'you may think you are right, but I know I am'...He didn't even know why I was was there! I was called in by Scrivens. Do you think I will be going back there - NO!
I was given new hearing aids with end buds which were too big which caused the tubes to bend and thus eclude which the staff blamed on me not putting them in properly. I was later fitted with smaller buds by someone who knew what they were doing. These worked well until one night on taking out the aids the bud came off in my ear and I had to go to A&E to get it out. This has now happened twice. I no longer wear them.
