Absolutely wonderful place. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbly when we arrived, and were treated like royalty for the remainder of the evening. Very kind and personal service. The food was absolutely lovely, the best I've had in Sardinia. The location is quite special and tastefully decorated, very relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Nice and cozy place. They could offer me several vegan options, had a pasta which were great.

No. 43 is a hidden gem in the old town. A varied menu with some really excellent choices available whatever your preference. I normally don’t like recommending an exceptional restaurant, as we don’t want to find it fully booked the next time we would like to return.. However, the hard working staff deserve praise. Try the truffle pasta....! Not expensive overall for such good quality cuisine...

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was very friendly, attentive and the whole place just made you feel calm and relaxed. The food (starters, pasta and main dish) where really of high quality and tasty. The prices feel just right for the quality you get. To sum up: Authentic food, fine dining quality, relaxed atmosphere. We had a beautiful evening and will make sure to visit again next time we come to Alghero. PS: Reservation recommended.

Fancy atmosphere but not all the guests are well-dressed so don't feel pressured. If you don't like truffle, avoid it: the place smells truffle from the entrance. An half-glass of prosecco as a complimentary welcome. We ordered the truffle pasta: not a huge portion but of good taste and quality. Dark chocolate mousse as a dessert with berries and a macaron: good mousse, the chocolate macaron was a disappointment, didn't taste much chocolate. The rest of the menu seemed interesting with original burgers. But we only heard the calling of the truffle

Romantic settings and a very attentive and professional service make you feel at ease and welcome. even if dishes are not coming out of the kitchen very quickly but that is not something necessarily negative. the food was fantastic. I enjoyed every bite from the first to the last. Not the cheapest but well worth it.

The food was great, the service was impeccable and the place itself was really cozy, almost like in a living room (though with the occasional stranger around). We were greeted with an aperitif, and were recommended a great bottle of wine.

This place seems a little confused on the offering it has. Great setting, good service but a very average meal. Fine dining with a burger? Possibly but not executed quite right.
