Got to love a Lidl, especially as the lovely rural villa in which i am staying doesn't put any food on; this Lidl in Alghero seems even cheaper than the other stores i been to.

It’s nice shopping at Lidl while in Italy when you start missing life in Germany. Overall, nice visit to Lidl, but I gave it 4 stars because I got an awful shopping cart in which the wheels were jammed up and didn’t move. They should do more quality control checks on their carts.

Was shopping here for several times and stopped after few issues. Some food is not fresh. Bought pineapple and it was rotten inside (not even on sale). Staff didnt exchange the size of clothes. It was never tried on and in original packaging. Not acceptable! There are so many supermarkets around that I'm not coming back again. This is the worst Lidl so far from my travel experience.

The supermarket with the longest opening hours that I'm aware of in the area. It saved us on our way from the airport to the city when our flight was delayed. Of course the selection is not super wide and there is no section with meats that are sliced for you (salumeria) but you can get quite some local products there, including cheese and descent vegetables

You can buy anything, for good price. Have to try the locally baked sweet cookies/donuts! :)
