never received goods ordered on Amazon, had to fight Amazon for refund who didn't care as it was on their marketplace - ended up getting refund from Credit card company

A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. I bought a Canon printer from Alldays via Amazon Marketplace and when I tried to connect it, the initial alarm light flashed continually , so it never worked. I emailed Alldays and said that I wanted to return the printer to them because it was faulty and in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, I wanted a refund. Alldays repeatedly told me that I had to contact Canon to obtain a reference number before Alldays would accept the return of the goods. I refused to do this because my contract was with the seller ie Alldays and so they were legally obliged to accept the return of the faulty goods and give me a refund. They ignored my rights as a buyer and continued to insist that I had to contact Canon first. I then contacted Amazon to claim on their A - Z guarantee but this made matters much worse. On their instructions I returned the printer to Alldays, paying 14 postage myself, using insured and tracked mail. Alldays later told Amazon that they hadn't received the goods, even though one of their own employees had signed for them! After over two weeks of frustration, rudeness and inaccuracy from both organisations, I received a refund of the printer cost and have written off the 14 postage. It was the worst experience that I have ever had as a consumer.
I bought a canon combi ink cartridge from them through Amazon. The colour cartridge was faulty but the company \ did not want to know\. Suggesting that I take it up with Canon as they were the supplier, it was up to them,The item would have cost at least half its value in postage return but they were not prepared to use good public relations, so the item has gone in the bin, and they have lost a customer for good, as well as any other possible customers in my immediate circle.
Similar experience to others it would appear. Installed cartridge, got error message from HP saying that the cartridge is either refilled or counterfeit. Noticed that the cartridge package said from Malaysia. On HP website they include Malaysia as 1 of 10 countries issuing counterfeits. Informed All Day Office Supplies and they supplied me with a \HP\ phone number which appears to be fake. Mmmm, not holding out much hope of getting my money back!
I purchased ink via ebay from this company & one was faulty & they didn't want to know about it, they told me to contact Epson for a possible exchange but Epson said the seller should replace or refund them!! I won't be buying from these again!!
