There was ZERO response to the 5 text messages and voice mails I left the owner -half way in to the job- about general questions/concerns that could have been answered easily, if we were told what the process would be for our flooring repair and refinishing. The baseboards weren't removed prior to the work, so as a result the white baseboards have wood floor stain on them and will have to be touched up- an unexpected result for us. The beautiful wood floor that didn't need repair was \buffed\ along with the floor that was repaired so the laquer would go on uniformly. However, the \buffing\ was more like coarse sanding, and left circular scratches all over the wood floor that WAS beautiful before. The coarse sanding (\buffing\) continued on the repaired floor so much so that the stain set deeper in the circular scratches, as to make it more pronounced. There is a large \bald spot\ in the center of the floor where not enough stain was placed. This company literally cut corners in that you can see where they didn't bother sanding all previous stain off before they put new stain down- especially IN the corners! The result is wavy, irregular darker wood next to the baseboards. Also, there are \dips\ in the wood, where it seems the circular sander was just pressed down in one place, creating a small slope on the floor. Some areas of the floor are rough, like sandpaper. Other areas are obviously scratched. I am heartbroken over how my floors look, and the money spent! We have hired ANOTHER company to come in and re-do the horrible job this company did.
