I went in just to have my hair trimmed. Nhu was fantastic, fast, and she was great with my hair. I'm not from the area so trying a new place can be scary, but I had a great experience and would absolutely visit again.

I’ve been exclusively using Modern Design for four years - and although every stylist there has been amicable and professional, I always ask for Olivia. I actually started seeing her at another salon and followed her when she moved to Modern Design. She is genuine, attentive, and always hears me when I ask for specific details regarding my hair or nails. As a grad student, I don’t always have an open schedule and she and Nhu are always incredibly accommodating. They also make you feel so welcome and comfortable when you’re there, and they both really take an interest in making sure your experience is positive. I have never had a less-than-stellar experience with them!

This is the best hair salon! I just got blonde highlights here- which I was really nervous about because i've never colored my hair before. My hair stylist (nhu's employee) was so awesome to talk to. She did great with my hair and made sure it was how I wanted it. Plus they had an 80% off bin of hair products which was super fun :)
