Sherry Willis, founder and CEO of Alliance for Greater Works, is one of the most outstanding leaders in the Non-Profit world today. She is experienced, having worked for many years in all areas of the Non-Profit industry. She has a purpose and a passion to impart what she has learned to upcoming non-profit organizations and to help mentor them to become more than they ever dreamed that they could be. She has done this for the Fort Worth HOPE Center. Since 2003 I have been under her training and she has mentored me through various growth situations and has helped me keep our eye on our purpose and mission as we grew and birthed new programs. Our mission is to "Fight HUNGER and Feed HOPE" and for years we provided food distribution program. As a result of her training I was challenged to start the "School of HOPE", a vocational training school to help individuals find employment. She helped me get it off the ground and today hundreds of individuals are finding HOPE as they are trained and are becoming employed. I try to attend as many of her workshops as I can, knowing that there is always something fresh, something challenging and something inspiring to help grow our organization to the next level. She is amazing because she has yielded herself to the Lord to be used to bless non-profits in developing their organizations to reflect not just good works, to be a place where the love of God flows through them as they touch the lives of those they serve, which results in real HOPE and changed lives. We experience that kind of Love through her training and it is life changing for us and we can pass it on to those we serve.
