Beautiful architecture. Paid 2 euros and photo allowed in order to preserve it. You can always Google it the pictures if you need it! Only accessible by car or bike!

Beautiful church! Just a pity you're not allowed to take pics inside...

Well worth a visit. A little jewel.

A really gorgeous jewel - unassuming and not very crowded. This church is very richly ornamented and contains São Lourenços life depicted in typical azulejos, not forgetting about the richly ornaments.

Stunning 17th centuary tiled interior, with gold altarpiece. There is no photography allowed so leave your camera at home. There is plenty of information in the booklet available on entry. This booklet is available in many languages and explains all the main features of the church. The staff were very friendly and also spoke multiple languages.

Gorgeous church absolutely worth’s visit. It costs 2 to get in and no pictures are allowed inside. But worth it to just be inside such a beautiful space if even a bit out of the way. Totally recommended!

Smallish church not near anything. The inside is very beautiful blue and white painted tile, but they are *very* strict about taking no pictures at all inside and that was a major bummer for me. I think taking pictures is a great way to share the beauty with people who are unable to take the trip themselves. There is 2 admission fee for entry. There is no restroom or giftshop or explanations of the art or anything like that. The woman taking the fee was brusque and just because there are SO many gorgeous churches in Portugal, I wouldn't make a special trip to go here if you had to make a choice. If you're in the area, pop in and sit for a bit.

Beautifull but little church
